Chlorine

Used as a disinfectant in public water systems. Ideally in the 0.2 to 4.0 mg/L range, high levels of chlorine can cause an unpleasant taste / odor, dry out skin and hair, and cause irritation to the eyes and respiratory system.

0.2 - 1.0 mg/L

Cautionary

1.1 - 4.0 mg/L
