Dryer Vent
Lint buildup in dryer vents is a leading cause of dryer fires. Regular cleaning and proper maintenance of the vent system greatly reduce this risk. Ensure the vent hose is made of a metal material (preferably rigid or semi-rigid aluminum). Plastic or foil hoses are more prone to kinking and lint buildup.
